Title: Witches of New York, the Greene clan.
Saga: New York Witches # 1
Author: Carolyn MacCullough.
Editorial: Versatile
Pages: 285
Binding: Soft cover with flaps .
Synopsis: "Your daughter will be one of the most powerful we've ever had in this family. It will be a light to guide us all." Tamsin
Greene comes from a long line of witches, and the day he was born, his grandmother would have proclaimed that one of the biggest talents among them. But the magic of Tamsin never appeared. Now, seventeen years later, spends most of his time at boarding school in Manhattan, where at least you can pretend to be normal.
Personal opinion:
First and above all, to thank Veronica the Dragonfly blog for letting me borrow, more than anything because if it becomes for me I do not had bought. And I'm glad I did not because the book is not to kill me too.
The book is Tamsin, a girl from a line of witches that are "supposed" that had to be the most powerful witch of all witches. But ... What's up? That X or Y, Tamsin has no Talent. I feel terrible thing and that it takes to try to lead a normal life in a boarding school in Manhattan.
I think the book has a good plot, but I do not convince me. I thought it was a slow book, where everything happens at the end, all at once and the first pages are a bit like "to hang out." In addition, Tamsin too well I did not like was all the time feeling too inferior to her sister and not ... I did not like, period. xD Also, the "love story" (because it is assumed that there is something that can be glimpsed there) does not convince me too ...
I do not know, for me was pulling a book normalillo a little heavy at times. I'm glad that you have left me letting me know because I would have bought it regretted the purchase. And that's what I say, the plot itself is good, but how to write the author did not kill me and I saw a little slow for my taste. I do not think reading the saga continues, I have many books that interest me more to read. But as always, for her own (or in our case, books;))
I give it 3 2 butterflies seem to me too ... the book left me indifferent, the truth ... so good so the two butterflies xD
anyone else read it? Tell me your views:) I look forward to reading: D
Big kiss:)
